Packaging line for door locks with cartesian robot
Packaging lines for carton boxes can include cartesian robots to pick up and carry boxes from one process to the following. This machinery for door locks, for example, has a 2-axis robot to fill cartons.
The process starts on the cartoning machine MCTN2000 that opens the boxes, inserts the door lock previously wrapped in heat-shrink film and closes the boxes. On a parallel line the case erector opens the cartons and seals the bottom side with adhesive tape. The door locks boxes gather on a belt where the AV100 robot picks them up in groups of three to fill cartons with 15 of them. Filled cartons are finally closed on the top side by the taping machine.
